I was just looking in the App and noticed my heart rate spiked to 154. Yikes! However, I’m not even wearing my Fitbit right now. How in the world can it detect my heart rare, and so incorrectly, when I’m not even wearing the device?! Something seems really wrong since the last update. My resting heart rate has also shown as higher since the update.
Yesterday I reset the device because the heart rate seems off.
In addition, the night my app updated it showed I didn’t go to sleep until 12:59am though at that point I’d been in bed over 2 hours. My device was securely on my wrist.
Whats going on? I feel this last update has bugs. Please advise. Thank you.

@Starlyte3 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Let me help you with your heart rate and sleep logs. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on but choose the Auto option save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Regarding sleep your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.
Let me know how it goes.
