Fitbit device doesn't stay connected to Bluetooth

Hello, has anyone been having issues of Fitbit not staying connected to Bluetooth? Or mine is not keeping correct time. It’s less than 6 months old and since the last update, nothing has been working right. Any suggestions?

Hi @JuneBug2323. It's nice to see a new face around. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

 

I'm sorry about your Fitbit not connecting correctly, and thanks for letting me know that this started after the update. There are some factors that may affect this connection, for example if your Fitbit device isn't within 20 feet from your phone  or there are other Bluetooth connections turn on when trying to sync. If this conditions don't apply to you, I'd recommend the following steps:

 

  1. Remove the Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your Fitbit device to refresh it's settings.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the profile's icon.
  5. Tap on the Fitbit device's image and then on sync now.
  6. Once it has synced, tap on "Notification" and accept the prompt to pair via Bluetooth.
