Fitbit device step inaccuracy.

Is anybody else experiencing an inflation of steps taken?  Yesterday, fitbit reported that I took 124,307 steps and today, it's reporting I took 77,732 steps.  I know i took less steps than that!  On a very good day I take over 10,000 steps and on the average, I take less than 6,000 steps.  The error as humorous when it first happened, but now it's getting irritating.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, which tracker or watch are you currently using? Have you restarted your phone and your Fitbit device already? Since when have you experienced this situation? Are the steps being added at night or during the day? 

Having this information will be very helpful for us check this further, please reply with as much information as you can.
