Fitbit not syncing and saving historic data for previous days

My Fitbit Versa seems to be having a problem where it is not syncing and updating my activity information to the Fitbit service.

I only just realized this within the last few days, but my Fitbit history is showing as empty for nearly two weeks. All days show zero steps, flights of stairs, no sleep stats, etc.

My Fitbit is connecting to my phone. I get notifications and I can see today's steps and stats within the app. However as soon as the next day comes it shows the previous day as blank/zero. Maybe it's pulling the current data from the Fitbit, but not saving it?

I went to my dashboard on the Fitbit website and it showed the last sync as May 4th.

I can see the app "sync" with the Fitbit in the app and it appears to complete correctly. I don't get any errors. I can see the battery level, apps installed, etc, but none of the fitness or other data seems to be syncing properly.

I tried reinstalling the app, but that didn't help.

Any ideas what the issue may be? Until this is fixed my Versa is practically useless as a tracker if I can't view data beyond today.

I am using the Fitbit Versa SE on iOS 12.2 on an iPhone SE.

Thanks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @bluearrow. I´ll be glad to assist you with your device´s information not showing on the App inquiry. Thank you for mentioning the steps you have followed in order to resolve this situation.

Since your Website Dashboard shows that you last synced on May 4th. I would recommend checking help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? if that doesn´t work you can set up your Versa as a replacement device.

Let me know how it goes.

I have the same problem with my Charge 2. My sync date has was stuck so I added the device again as a replacement and synced but the date stuck again on 10 December with no history. It's apparently does sync and update today's info but it's gone tomorrow. There is no history since November 2019. I am seeing the same problem with the wrinkle that the app (on iOS) will sync to the device, show steps for a couple of seconds and then reset to zero steps. I'm all for gamification but this is ridiculous.

Attached are two screenshots which would hint at it being perhaps an issue syncing with the service rather than the device. Note the timestamps (first is the more recent).Screenshot 2020-01-02 at 11.33.54 AM.png

Is there any diagnostic info I can share to help?

Tried all of the suggested (AltHR) and it still wont' work.  Syncs today but deletes previous day's data.  Problem started Feb 15th (15th, 16th deleted).

I restarted fitbit, reloaded apps on both phone and tablet - nothing.

I'm having exactly the same issue. I'm doing a challenge which is supposed to sync my data overnight but when I wake up all my previous days efforts are zero, and most importantly for me my sleep data is not recorded. I replaced my last device for a similar issue. Not good enough.
