Let me help you with this, I recommend you following these troubleshooting steps in order to get it synced:

- Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
- Force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
- Reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
Restart your tracker (2 or 3 times in a row).
- If your tracker didn't sync, try syncing with your computer.

You can also check the suggestions posted on this thread that it might help you as well.

I have done all these steps and it still doesn't sync. Mine has not been able to sync since 1/23. Not everyone has time to locate the thing to sync it with the computer. Pretty inconvenient.

Hey there @Kas0713 @MashleyRN! Welcome to the Community!

It's a shame to hear that your tracker is not syncing properly, since you have already tried the troubleshooting steps posted above, I recommend you contacting the Support Team so they can review your device history.

Hope it helps! Let me know how it goes :D.

Hey everyone!!!! Sooo after screwing with mine for a few weeks I may have finally found a solution! I will repeat everything I did since mine decided it wanted to work again.

First off on your android or iPhone (I have IPhone) in your blue tooth settings make sure you are successfully paired and it says connected.

The next steps I did was reset it three times in a row and in the all day syncing area I did sync now. It wasn't registering and working at first but then I started screwing around with the time face formats and alarm times to try to trick the fit bit to update.

While it was still trying to sync data, it decided to change the time display format after all then the device self rebooted with the sync.

After the self reboot it corrected everything, and started to sync normally again.

Development team, I want to suggest going over the interface coding. I think maybe with one of the iPhone software updates or updates somewhere, that a section of coding may have got cut out or deleted? So maybe look at the syncing process with display format and actual data transfer and see what code differs. I think that the charge hr send code may be damaged with certain tasks but not others.

I did this and my fb charge is still not syncing and the time is still off. Its been this way for 3 days now. I am not impressed with this item at all. It says I went up 4 flights of stairs when I have not been on any stairs, the mileage count is less than than trails that have mileage posted. I have reset this gadget more times than I care to count, and have had the help of tech support.

Have you tried turning up the sensitivity? I will honestly tell you I am having the same issues when driving my semi, it will count steps that aren't happening. Honestly I would advise taking off the device when not planning on doing any particular workouts. As for the time, try resetting the Bluetooth save devices for your Fitbit in your phone, reset your device and don't power on. Turn your phone Bluetooth back on and your Fitbit then go to account, sync, and it should sync correctly. If this doesn't work then there is an internal error with the device coding and a random reset method/methods should get the error straightened out.

If I force quit the Fitbit app (as in delete it from my phone and re-load it???) will I lose all my data on there?  Quick response needed!  on a corporate challenge and can't let my team down!!  thanks!!

Hmm I haven't done that in a while but last time I did, as long as it's registered to a email address and if you have your profile done, it should not delete your data. Just don't lose your log in info!

@knitwint @Lost-Kind Force quitting and reopening the App will not cause data loss, but if you are having trouble syncing, I'd recommend trying the troubleshoots listed here.

Hope this helps and welcome to the Fitbit Community!
