Fitbit won’t sync w/iphone

I’ve tried everything to sync my Fitbit to my iPhone. It stopped syncing a week ago. I’ve tried restarting my tracker and reinstalling the app and now it won’t even let me link my Fitbit to the app.

So sick of this problem.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried rebooting my Fitbit, restarting my phone, turning off Bluetooth and turning it back on. I even “forgot the device”, which only made things worse because now my phone simply doesn’t see the Fitbit anymore. If I try to pair from inside the app, it hangs......and then hours down the line it randomly syncs. Even then, however, i can’t update the info to real time. It won’t sync on command.

i updated to iOS version 2.49 two days ago. Pretty sure the bug fixes made more bugs.

I doubt this fully explains the trouble you’re having, but a complicating factor with syncing the wristband is it’s reliance on having a working internet connection, either cellular or Wi-Fi. It simply will not sync when very poor or no signal conditions exist.

The Bluetooth pairing is another matter and it wouldn’t surprise me if recent Fitbit and or Apple changes have worsened this.

Good luck!

Were you able to resolve this issue? I am having the same problem. Along with my heart rate monitor stopped working.

I did manage to fix it! For some reason, my cellular data was turned off
(even though the App settings showed it as on). I’m not sure why it was
off as I wouldn’t have done it manually. But, I also assumed that the watch
would sync with Wifi when available. Apparently not.
