Fitbit was correct on my iphone but not on my fitbit.  I tried to sync them and now I have the wrong amount of steps.  What was wrong on the fitbit is now incorrect on the iphone.  How do I add steps?

Hi @TammyDB, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting too. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Also, which iOS mobile device you're using to check the Fitbit app? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps and let me know how it goes:

  1. Logout from your account.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Make sure that the iOS and Fitbit app versions are up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Login using your account credentials.
  6. Let me know if the issue persists.

Also, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iOS mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. To add steps you can check: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
