Flex won't pair to iphone6s

I bought he Fitbit flex today and go through all the set up and when it gets to the part of searching for a device it just won't pick it up, I've turned my phone off twice, turned off Bluetooth several times and even restarted the tracker, nothing is working and I'm losing my patience. Does anyone have any suggestions or does it seem I have a dodgey one?

@SunsetRunner The following steps should help:

 

1. Restart your tracker.

2. Reboot your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off your iOS Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn it back on.

4. Use the replacement setup process to pair your tracker to your existing account. Click here for instructions.
