Floors climbed not appeearing in app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
For some reason after 4 days of use my Fitbit no longer shows my floors climbed on my phone app. It shows that I have climbed floors on my Fitbit charge HR band though so it is being tracked. Even the past 3 days of floors climbed are no longer showing :(. I checked my display settings and everything is checked to show. Can someone help me out please?

@Kaseyfit It's nice to have you on board! That shouldn't be happening to your Fitbit app.

You might want to make sure that your Fitbit app is updated to your latest version. Not having the Fitbit updated to its latest version may cause some inconveniences interacting with it.

Also, verify that you have all of your tiles showing:

1. Open the Fitbit app.
2. Tap Edit in the top-right corner.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Check the circle next to the tile you would like to show.
5. Tap Done when finished.

I really hope this helps! Feel free to come back at any time. Cat Wink

What do I do if that is not an option?  I upgraded from a 5s to a 6s and floors climbed is not showing up and it if I clieck edit the tile is not in the list.  I have removed the application, tried creating a new account and same result.  Anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

@james_diamond Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Out of curiosity, what Fitbit tracker do you use? Please note that the following trackers have altimeters that are able to calculate floors climbed: Surge, Charge HR, Charge, and One.

Click here for more information on how Fitbit trackers calculate floors climbed.

Hope this helps you out!

I'm using MobileTrack with my iPhone 6s. Which tracks floors climbed just fine in every other app.

@james_diamond thanks for the update! Actually, MobileTrack does not monitor floors, sleep, or active minutes. Check out this article with MobileTrack FAQs for more info about this cool feature! Since your tracker will detect a floor using an altimeter, while using MobileTrack you're using your phone that's the reason floors aren't being detected while using it.

Hope this helps. Cat Tongue

I have 4 or 5 other friends that have the floors climbed tile active on their Fitbit, and they are only using MobileTrack. I will continue to seek advice on how to fix this, since the info provided does not solve my question.
thanks.

Hi! I tried the steps you posted on how to make the floors climbed show on the app, but it did not work for me. I clicked edit at the bottom of the app, and floors climbed is not there to select. I have the alta hr and believe it should be there. Can you help?

I have the Alta HR also and I don’t see stairs in the app.
