Food log databases different between phone app and website

When I log food on my iPhone, the "Frequent" food log has everything I have ever logged, I think.  I can swipe up and the list scrolls to show everything.  When I log food on the website, the list of frequent foods is there, but it does not show the whole list that is on the phone, only about 20 items or so, and there is no scroll bar like there should be to show a list that is too long to fit in the little window.  Where are the rest of my frequent foods?

Also, on the website I can click the star to mark favorite foods; the favorites list does not show up at all on the app, and I don't see a way to mark favorites from within the app.

It appears that FitBit has quite a few bugs in their food logging systems.  Not only those two, but also the ubiquitous problem of deleted foods showing back up next time one logs in.

The two platforms should work seamlessly together, and sync properly.  I find it annoying that they don't.

Welcome to the forums @LancelotsLoverWe've had some reports regarding the mobile Food logs not displaying all the items as well as the added food records that are reappearing when deleted. Please know that our development team is aware of this issue. They'll be investigating this further and see what can be done to get this fixed.

In the meantime,  I recommend to link your Fitbit Profile to MyFitnessPal which seamlessly syncs your data.

It also has users all over the world and a huge database, including barcode scanner and recipe builder. They are supported both through a computer as well as through most Smartphones. You can get more information on this page.

Let me know if you have any questions, good luck! Smiley Happy

Same problem with Android app. It's been this way for the entire time I've had a Fitbit so we're talking at least two years. I guess they don't consider it a priority of any degree but it is hands down my number one annoyance. Everything else seems to be great, or at least everything else I use. I really don't understand the hold up on such a basic and fundamental feature.
