I’m wondering if the Fitbit server is immune to hacking. This is a legitimate concern these days when Facebook has been targeted. 

How safe is our data at Fitbit?

What are the safeguards Fitbit uses against hacking?

Could the food logging “irregularities” be caused by hacking?

This is on a banner at the top of the forums:

 

"We are aware of an issue which is causing irregularities with food logging on iOS 2.53. While we investigate, we recommend iOS users log food via the fitbit.com dashboard. Visit this discussion for updates. "

 

I've used Fitbit since September 2013 and have never encountered a problem with my email.
