I am trying to create a custom meal by entering the individual foods. All of the instructions that I’ve found so far seem to refer to the old fitbit app. I must be pretty dense because nothing Ive tried so far works. Can anyone point me to some instructions?

Hi, here are steps for creating a custom meal:

  1. Go to Fitbit.com. Sign into your account (if needed), then click on the profile icon on the upper right corner and select “My Dashboard”.
  2. Click on “Log” in the banner at the top of the page.
  3. On the right side of the page, there is a box for “Favorites” with tabs for “Foods” and “Meals”. Select “Meals”.
  4. Click "Create a meal", give the meal a name, and hit save.
  5. Add in each individual food item one by one, then click "I'm done". 

When you go to log a food item on the app, click on the “custom” tab to see your saved recipes.
