I had set my calorie goal to be a dynamic 250 deficit. This morning, I went to switch it to 500 and it get reverting back as soon as I would change it. I set a manual static goal and then tried to switch back to the dynamic goal, and it keeps reverting back to the static goal. I have force quit and re-opened the app, deleted and reinstalled the app, and turn my phone off and back on. None of that has helped.

I’m having the same problem. Should be 500 calorie deficit but keeps reverting to 1382 calorie goal. It started yesterday. My phone is iOS version 18.7.1.

Food plan errors are currently affecting both iOS and Android users; how come none of this is still reported at Fitbit Status Dashboard? This is now clearly a problem that affects many and possibly all app users.

This issue has been going on for a week. Is there a status update on when it will be resolved?

Same issue here, food plan won't update, is stuck on 250 deficit and calories are often wrong too (doesn't add calories burned from exercise for hours, target doesn't change at all no matter how many calories I burn...all I can track is what I've eaten). It's been over a week now, I've done all the stock help team answer suggestions (log out, log in, uninstall, restart device, clear cache, pray to relevant deity, mutter incantations under a waning moon...last two probably just as likely to work as the first few).

Agreed. Very frustrating. I even chatted with someone this morning to ask if there was a status update. It didn't sound like there was any sense of urgency.

Same! It's so frustrating. I did everything they said and it still isn't working....

You would think with the power of Google behind Fitbit, issues would be resolved expeditiously but you’d be very wrong. I really was excited back when Google first took over and it’s been nothing but disappointment sadly.

I have the same issue plus the app is losing entries again now. I have a graph for yesterday but no food logs. Really frustrating that every time they do an app update they break something else.

I couldn't set a food plan for my partner on his phone 2 weeks ago, and I tried, unsuccessfully, to update mine on my phone today. Both of us are on Android. Tried all the troubleshooting steps and nothing has worked.
I was trying to do it because I noticed my food widget was displaying the incorrect calories remaining for the day, which is still broken.
Google clearly do not care as this issue has been going on for so long. Seriously thinking of leaving Fitbit for good.

Also having the same issue here. Seems like it's ongoing and no resolution from FitBit

The fitbit app was updated last night but unfortunately this problem is not fixed. Just as expected since Google swallowed Fitbit because clearly they are not interested in Fitbit at all. One word of advice, stop troubleshooting following the 'recommended' steps, you will only mess up your phone and app settings for nothing. Those who should be troubleshooting and fixing this are sitting on their hands

Any update on when this will be resolved? It's been over a week with virtually no information or timeline.

Is there an update on this? This is getting increasingly more frustrating by the day.

It's still happening but it looks like in the various thread I've seen they don't seem to want to fix it?

I live chatted with them again yesterday, and they couldn't provide any update other than they were aware of the issue and "working on it." Ridiculous. I don't actually think anyone is working on the issue, and I don't think we'll see a resolution. Ever since Google bought Fitbit, there have been nothing but issues with the app.
