I want to be in a calorie deficit and currently I am set to eating 1000 calories daily and every time I try to set the goal to -750 calories it takes me through the steps but two seconds later it goes back to the 1000 calorie goal. I have tried deleting the app, signing out, force quitting, and I think it is because of the 4.64 (most recent) update. Please help as I do not want to have a goal of eating 1000 calories a day
Mine has done the opposite. Mine is set to maintain weight so I’ve never had a calorie goal before. But I could still monitor that my calories in and out matched up. Now it’s given me a random 2358 calories goal a day which would put me way over maintenance! I can’t delete it without putting something else in and I don’t want to have a calorie goal.
This is happening to me too. I usually just want to maintain and I don’t want a calorie goal at all. But it has forcefully given me a goal of 1300 and won’t let me change it! So now it looks like I’m over my calories everyday.
Is there a way to escalate this issue so that it gets fixed??
No 😞 SO annoying - keeping an eye on the App Store as I guess they’ve broken it again and it’ll need an update.
Best AnswerThis started happening for me as well today with the new update that my phone downloaded overnight. I had it set to calorie deficit and keep setting it back, but it keeps immediately changing itself back to 1,382 calories. I have no idea why it’s choosing that number.
Best AnswerThis is happening to me too. As a short term solution, I’m going to average my last few weeks of calories since I’ve been in a 750 deficit for a while. You can add the average for each week and then divide by the number of weeks to get the average number that keeps you in your deficit. Hoping they fix it quickly!
Best AnswerI'm having the same problem! It started this morning. It's resetting my calorie goal to exactly 2000 calories per day but I want to try to maintain for a month but I'll still be exercising so i need to know how much for the day i still need to eat. At one point it went to 1500. I burned some calories but i like being able to look at a glance and not have to do math to know much i might need still. Because the app takes into consideration calories not yet tallied. It's difficult to calculate my meals. I don't want to over eat or under eat at all.
