I have to now click on my friends and it shows they have had no recent activity when I know they are as active as I am and we are sharing step counts. Big fail on the update.

Hello, @USN456, welcome back to the Fitbit Community. I Appreciate your insight @LZeeW.
@USN456 Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to your friends list and how it shows now, as @LZeeW mentioned to you, the Fitbit app is about to change to the Google Health app and some things are changing, when you update to the Google Health app, you can manage your friends again and compete with them on your weekly leaderboard which now supports steps and Cardio Load.
