GPS map doesn't show anymore since last update

When I started an exercise on my charge 3 it used to show a GPS map on my phone in the app.

Since the latest update It doesn't show anymore. 

I had my phone close during the exercises. Neither running, nor biking nor walking seem to work. It tracks all the data but the distance (and the missing map). 

I'm sharing my location with the app at all times. 

Whats wrong?

Help, please!

Hi @lalala2. Welcome to the Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand how you're feeling as this shouldn't happen, but let me work on this with you. Please confirm if your Charge 3 was able to connect to GPS during your activities. If that's the case, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. On your phone's settings make sure the Fitbit app is allowed to use your phone's GPS, as well the GPS can continue tracking while your phone is locked.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your Charge 3 to refresh its performance.
  4. Try starting a GPS activity from the exercise app on your Charge 3 and sync it when you're done to check your details.
