Hi -
As the moderators are aware from the many related threads on the issue, there are quite a few users who are unhappy with the new version of the iOS app, particularly surrounding areas where there is a perception that functionality/data presentation has been taken away (e.g., average sleep time), or made more difficult to use (e.g., extra steps to set silent alarms) or made more difficult to see (e.g., text readability in new app).
My question for the moderators is whether this feedback actually matters and changes are likely, or if we should just assume that the app is fully baked and we should go and make our own decisions about whether the new Fitbit is right for us. There have been many hundreds, if not thousands of comments about the new release, and it appears that few (if any) requests for changes were incorporated.
For my part, if what we see is what the product managers have decided that this is what we're going to get, then I'll give up commenting.
I know this may not be the sort of question that the moderators like, or even find appropriate, but I think it's fair, given that many people have taken the time to come here and comment and point out things that they believe are problematic.
I think all of us would appreciate an open and honest response from the moderators as to what our expectations should be.
Thanks.

Been reading through the forum a bit. I tried to down load the app from iTunes and it stated that I needed ios 11 or better to down load it. This was to an iPhone 5c with ios 10.3.3. So there is no way to get an app that would work on this phone? No previous versions available through any source other than iTunes?
Is there any other apps out there that would work? Was able to get the new charge 3 set up through the fitbit app running on a 5s running the latest ios. just not convenient
