I subscribe to different groups on the website vs the iOS Fitbit app Community Groups. I can’t even see the same groups!
What’s up with this?
UPDATE:
In the iOS Fitbit app, I replied to someone in a community feed
now I get a notification every time anyone posts in that thread.
Please allow users to turn these off!
I still want notifications from friends and from Fitbit (2,000 steps left to goal).

Hello @ChrisCA, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.
Please note that the removal of in-app Notifications based on steps was heavily requested by many people, which is why our team decided to remove them and replace them with push Notifications on your phone. Push Notifications only show when your phone is locked and will disappear after you unlock it and will no longer show up inside the Fitbit app.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello @ChrisCA, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that groups created in the online Dashboard are not visible in the Fitbit app and viceversa. Each group is only available in the platform they were created. I understand how important for you is to be able to see the groups you created in both platforms, which is why I would like to suggest you to check @WileyMan's suggested idea to implement this feature in the future. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.
Now, when it comes to turning off Notifications coming from the Community Feed, I would like to suggest you to add your vote and comment to @LadyKatYoung's suggested idea as well.
Finally, for Notifciations based on steps, these were removed on June 2018 after being heavily requested by many users. You will only receive these Notifications as push notifications in your phone.
I hope this can be helfpul, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

What? A notification is a notification.
Where were they removed if they are still there?

Hello @ChrisCA, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I appreciate you have come back and brought this to our attention. Please note that for the time being it's not possible to turn these notifications off, which is why I would like to suggest you to add your vote and comment to @LadyKatYoung's suggested idea as well. Our team is always monitoring these ideas to know which ones are more requested by users and Community members.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding, have a great day!
