How do I turn off new guidance tab. I don't want to have to see advertising for a service (fitstar) I have to pay for. I've already shelled out enough for my Blaze and Aria

I agree. Get rid of it!

Please get rid of the guidance tab or allow an option to hide it.  I have a set of workouts that I follow with a trainer.  I DO NOT need the app showing me an ad for a service that I have ZERO intention of using.  I has the app configured with the info that I want to see on the main part of the screen.  Now I cannot see it.

Please give us the option to remove it.

I totally agree! I think those graphic pictures under the Guidance tab are disgusting. I have no desire to exercise like that. I just want Fitbit to be a nice, clean, simple app that tracks my steps and allows me to choose my OWN community of friends. Please! Thank you for listening!

Hello @lgssdca, have a warm welcome to the Community. It's great to see you around @User161616 and @westseattleSmiley Happy

I understand your concern about the new Guidance tab on the Fitbit app. This is a feature introduced in the latest update and I completely get where you're coming from, even though it might be helpful for some people, for you it will not which is why I would like to recommend to rasie your voice by posting a suggested feature so people can vote for it and comment about it. More votes increase the chance of the developers integrate or in this case remove the feature.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused you, in case you need anything else, please keep me posted. Robot Happy

It feels frustrating to have to go and post a feature request (which I've done BTW) and then enter the "lottery of votes" in order to simply disable a feature (which may be of value for some) but which was effectively imposing advertising into a product we've already paid a pretty penny for.

I'm not looking for any new functionality-just the ability to undo what you've done-I don't recall every being asked or voting for having this imposed on me-perhaps others did?

In my experience fitbit won't change this - they're too arrogant and more interested in money than responding positively to their customers. I've added my vote to the 'festure request' but I don't expect anything to happen...

For anyone else who wants to see this 'feature' removed, here's where you can vite:

I voted for both suggestions in the links that Enkaytee provided to allow users to disable or remove the guidance "feature"...

But unfortunately I have to agree with Enkaytee--I don't expect anything to be done about this.  I've hung around these boards for several months and have read of other users being quite frustrated--as I am myself with some of the changes FitBit has made in their apps. The standard answer by the FitBit employees/moderators in this forum is to suggest a feature or vote for a suggestion already made.  But, the suggestions are never implemented and no updated responses/reasons are ever provided by FitBit.  Very frustrating.

One of the more notable examples of this is foisting the new iOS  dashboard on users who really wanted the functionality of the old dashboard back.  This includes myself.  It seems that the new dashboard is now being rolled out to Android users and receiving similar complaints.
