HR charge notworking

My hr charge has stopped working. It has coincided with me updating the app.  It won’t connect to Bluetooth despite following all the trouble shooting previously posted. When I plug it into the charger and hold the button an oblong bar shows on the screen which is half filled in.  I’ve tried rebooting phone, still no joy.

Hi @CAWF31. I can think of one more thing to try before resorting to calling Support. Please try restarting your HR 3 times in quick succession. Instructions are here. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks Carol, but I spent a long time this morning chatting and trying various solutions with the support team - no joy. A new Fitbit is in the post.
