Heart rate icon changed on new dashboard

The heart rate icon on the new dashboard is a consistent beating heart that always looks the same doesn't vary speed. The heart icon on the old HR tile used to beat in time with the rate on the watch. Also, if it was in the different zones, it would look different too. It was easy at a quick glance to know what HR zone I was in, and with a manual pulse check, to see if my watch was picking up an accurate heart rate. Now I can't tell either of those things from the icon on the dashboard. Huge backwards step!!.
