Heart rate in app

Is it possible to show the heart rate on the app (iPhone for me) in large numbers while I'm doing an indoor exercise routine? I primarily use an elliptical and an indoor rowing machine. I'd love to be able to set my phone on the machine and monitor my heart rate instead of having to find it on my wrist while exercising

Hi @MickeyW

Have moved this thread from the Surge to the iOS App section to increase the chance of getting a solution.

Thanks, I'm new to the fitbit world so I wasn't sure where to post

Welcome to the Forums @MickeyW! By now there's no way to have the heart rate displayed in large numbers on the app. You can see it like in the following screenshot, though:

                                                   Capture2.PNG

It will display "live data" of the heart rate instead of the Resting heart rate. If that's not what you're looking for, you should check the Feature Request forum to see if someone has already suggested the features you would like to see. If they have you can vote for them to show your support. If they haven't you should go ahead and post feature requests for the changes you would like to see. (That is the forum Fitbit uses to gauge peoples interest in changes to their products.)

I wish you an excellent day!
