My blaze Device shows on the tracker two readings for heart rate.
it shows the BMP with one reading and resting another. The resting is always slightly lower than my BMP.
What at shes this mean ? And can I get the resting lower than showing on the tracker

Hello @Birkett1984, thanks for joining us, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Community!
The resting heart rate is measured when you’re awake, calm, comfortable, and have not recently performed an activity. the Blaze use your heart rate data from when you’re awake and asleep to estimate your resting heart rate. This is why the number is slightly lower than when you're performing an exercise or an activity, which is the current BPM you're able to see.
Please refer to our help article to know more about heart rate and resting heart rate to know more about how this works and what can affect the data measured by your tracker.
I hope this information can be helpful, feel free to reply in case you need anything else!

Thanks for your email.
Does the tracker automatically workout what my resting heart rate should be
based on my age etc........... as it shows on the blaze always as 70 but
when it measuring / recording my beats per it shows around 63 beats.
If my beats per minute is lower than the 70 on my tracker it never changes
below this it always says resting 70 beats per minute.
Kind Regards

Hello @Birkett1984, I hope you're doing well.
Your resting heart rate is calculated by the tracker after wearing constantly for a while, it's not entirely based on your age and gender. The one calculated that way is your Max Heart rate.
Please remember that if the resting heart rate shown is an average of the measures the tracker has gathered during the day, which is why when you check your current heart rate it's possible the number seen on the display is lower than the average.
Hope this clarifies your concerns, keep me posted if there's anything else I can do for you.
