Ho do I turn off Hand Wash reminders?

A little while ago I started getting reminders to wash my hands. While hand washing is a good habit, I really do not need my fitness app to act as my mother. What's next: reminders to bush my hair and change my underwear? I actually find these reminders annoying and somewhat condescending. Does somebody know how to turn them off?
