Hourly activity not updating correctly in app.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

What I've got:

Charge 2, firmware v.22.55.2

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 12.1

FitBit app v.2.83 (804)

What does update in the app:

individual steps, miles

sleep

heart rate

The Charge 2 does show hourly activity (2/9 at 9:45AM).

The app just shows grey dots for those 2 hours.

It appears to have stopped updating hourly activity yesterday morning. I'd done no updates around that time (OS, apps, net config, etc.) The web dashboard _did_ show hourly activity for the day. Today: the iOS app is tracking steps and the web dashboard is tracking neither steps nor hourly activity.

What I've done:

checked for app updates

restarted the phone itself

restarted the device

restarted Bluetooth

gotten off/on WiFi

re-paired the device to the phone

logging out of/into the mobile app

logging out of/into the web dashboard

ensured that there are no other FitBit devices that the phone's Bluetooth is seeing

Any suggestions as to what else to try?

Thanks!

Thank you for your response.

@MarcoGFitbit, could you please characterize the "it" that you're aware of? Is there a place where one can track outages so that I don't waste numerous hours in the future?

Please note that at this moment the only way we communicate about emerging issues, updates and fixes is through the official Forums. If you've noticed, we have several posts pinned on each board that are getting updated once we know more about the development of an issue or when a fix is issued.

Thanks again for your participation in the Forums, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hi @MarcoGFitbit

Please direct me to the official forums where this is detailed. It is unclear from my perspective where the line between official and unofficlal forums lies.

Thanks.
