@Phil587 I think I can help you out with getting your Surge to sync again. I would recommend:
1. Restarting your Surge.
2. Rebooting your iOS device.
3. Open your iOS settings > turn off your Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn it back on.
4. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.
This should help, but keep me in the loop if you need any additional help!

Thanks for your attempted assistance, Derrick, but what you suggest will not work. I have tried all of that and more numerous times without success. The only thing I have not done is remove the Surge from my account and add it back but I don't really want to do that becaue I will lose my data.
Again, thanks for your attemp to help me. I appreciate it but I'm afraid I have yet another failed Surge. My fourth one. I am ready to just cut my loses and move on. I know of nothing else to do.
