How Do I Sync My Surge?

Why will my Surge no longer sync to my iPhone or PC? I first purchased a Surge during Nov of last year. Since then, Fitbit has replaced it 4 TIMES due to various problems and now the latest one has simply quit syncing. Without the sync, it is worthless. On login, it tells me it last synced at 11:37 last night. Well -- no it didn't because both my phone and PC were OFF and I was fast asleep. It recorded no steps for yesterday. It is lying. This may be the biggest bit of junk I have ever purchased.

@Phil587 I think I can help you out with getting your Surge to sync again. I would recommend:

1. Restarting your Surge.

2. Rebooting your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off your Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn it back on.

4. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.

This should help, but keep me in the loop if you need any additional help!

Thanks for your attempted assistance, Derrick, but what you suggest will not work. I have tried all of that and more numerous times without success. The only thing I have not done is remove the Surge from my account and add it back but I don't really want to do that becaue I will lose my data.

 

Again, thanks for your attemp to help me. I appreciate it but I'm afraid I have yet another failed Surge. My fourth one. I am ready to just cut my loses and move on. I know of nothing else to do.
