How did I resolve iOS notifications issue

What finally worked for me:

 

1) go into your fitbit app and disable the option to receive text message notifications 

2) sync app with fitbit

3) turn phone off and then turn it back on

4) go back into fitbit app and enable the option to receive text notifications 

5) sync app with fitbit 

 

hope this works for you!
