See How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?

Hi, @Gina66! Just go into the exercise tile on your dash and hit the stopwatch icon. Then switch over to log previous and you can enter an estimate of what you did for the day.

You will find that although you can "Log" an exercise after the fact, you cannot enter step counts for that exercise no matter the type. This is to keep people in "Challenges" from falsifying exercise data.

@MrMarv  Not sure I agree with that reason.  Steps from manually logged activities don't count in challenges anyway.  So say if you log a walk of 1 mile, Fitbit might decide that is 2200 steps for exercise log, but those steps don't count in challenge anyway.
