In light of the potential google acquisition of Fitbit my fears about Fitbit accumulating all my data were clearly correct, and so I want to delete all the data you have acquired.
There is no option I can find to delete this data, and my account - deleting my account without guarantees that you've deleted my data is meaningless.
So how do I delete this data?

I’d like an answer from Fitbit personnel, please. I, too, wish to keep my health data from Google.

Are you a Fitbit employee? In other words, do you speak for Fitbit?

Hi @SunsetRunner - @JohnnyRow (and I) are members of the Fitbit Community Council. This means that while we are not Fitbit employees, we are a group of volunteers who were selected to help out in the forums, answering questions, etc. The link @JohnnyRow referenced is an official Fitbit site.

How do I delete my profile? I can’t find a delete button and swiping doesn’t work. What steps do I perform to delete my account?
I have deleted the tracker from my account, but I want to delete my data as well.

Among the different options in Account’ in the app, there is a ‘Manage Data’ which is where you delete the account.
I have received a mail informing me that I have 7 days to regret it before the account is permanently deleted

Thanks, Jogger. I was hoping that, at some point, we’d hear from staff but my hopes are not high when Google is involved.

If you tap on your name (maybe you have a picture, too?) in the upper left corner of the start screen in the fitbit app the account-area is hidden there. Then you scroll down to see all rhe options. Manage data is one of the options.
