Does anyone know how I get the old dashboard back on my iOS app? I don’t have automatic updates turned on so I don’t know how this has happened? The new dashboard is not user friendly and set out very poorly

I am so disappointed. I came to Fitbit from Garmin and now I am either going back to Garmin or looking into an Apple Watch or something else. The old display I could see my sleep at a glance, my calories remaining, read it all on one screen quickly without extra clicks or scrolls. I agree that this needs to be felt, leave reviews in the app store, Amazon, on Facebook, wherever you bought your watch. Then shop elsewhere because their current customers apparently don’t matter.

This update is horrible. ALL I WANT IS MY DASHBOARD WITH STEP COUNTER AND SLEEP TRACKER plus the associated historical bar-charts. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE CURRENT UI AND THE LACK OF THE SIMPLE STEP COUNTER ON THE DASHBOARD. Why couldn't you leave well enough alone??? I've read this entire thread and it appears to me that fitbit company seems indifferent to their customer's needs.

Please bring back the old app or the old dashboard GUI back, as it was. Otherwise who will join me in moving on to another non-fitbit branded product? I don't see any reason to remain loyal anymore.

PS: I have my fourth fitbit Charge HR.

@alcurb We feel the same way. We have had several versions of the Charge, my wife has a Charge 2, I have a Versa and we have an Aria. We have been loyal to Fitbit but I have seen nothing during these changes that suggests that Fitbit cares or is interested in our continuing support. We will certainly be looking at all the competitive alternatives from now on.

I think the point we are all missing here is that Fitbit has no intention of "going back."

I've been getting prompts to try "Premium" free for a month. Not going to do that, since all I want are the total steps, hourly counter and sleep tracker. I deleted all the items from the dashboard and added just those three back. So far works for me. I don't know why they think that many users want all that personalized coaching, etc. But if the million trackers they are giving away with their Singapore deal all sign up for the $9.99 a month service, along with a portion of the 27 million trackers already in use, - do the math! So I do think it's probably time to start looking for something else. It probably won't be too long before they don't let you see the simple stats without paying for it.

Unfortunately, there is no going back to the old dashboard.

In light of fitbit's apathy towards our concerns, I think is time for me to move on to a competing product.

I'm looking now for alternatives but have in mind I'm a bit apprehensive of Chinese brands. So I've been looking at the Samsung Gear Fit2 (there's that word again--"fit"). Seems like a nice device with the cool wrap-around-your-wrist Amoled screen design. The phone app seems pretty nice too. What are your feelings about it? Battery life? Practicality? or Perhaps GARMIN is a better choice?

The new App face is terrible, how do we get the old look back?

You have my vote bring the old look back please

Save your votes, the old dashboard won’t be coming back..Fitbit made that pretty clear awhile ago...

you're right, they won't be bringing it back.  so i'm starting to look at other activity trackers.  anyone have any ideas for good ones??

@berley I think we’re  going to look at the apps first, although that didn’t help us with Fitbit. These are all made in China anyways so we don’t see any reason not to look at some of the cheap Chinese trackers out there.

@berley I just had a Garmin Vivosmart 4 delivered to potentially replace my Charge 3.  I'll see how it does.  It's thinner than the Charge 3, which is nice.

It's a bummer that it came to this after 4 1/2 years with a Fitbit almost continuously and nearly 6,000 miles walked. But I'm not interested in a subscription model, and I'm underimpressed by the responses of Garmin to the nearly universal panning of this latest update.  So I'm looking elsewhere.

I also do not like the new dashboard nor was I given a chance to change it or opt out. Its not user friendly. I no longer have been able to use and track anything but my steps. Makes me want to explore other products with different companies. Very disappointed ☹️ I loved my Fitbit and app.

I’ve been busy so not checked forums for the past week or so. Any acknowledgement yet from FitBit that their new dashboard is much worse and the old dashboard (which must still be there in the code) brought back??

Oh, wait, sorry - you were serious?

I'm thinking back, way back, when the Coca-Cola company had the not-so-bright idea to reformulate Coke. That caused such a loud outrage from their consumers that the negative publicity was having an adverse effect to their bottom line. Maybe this is fitbit's New Coke. I think if they feel our outrage maybe they'll take a lesson from history. Initially they might make tons of money in subscriptions, but when the novelty wears off, so will the subscriptions, and what they have left is the base--us loyal consumers who will continue buying their devices. Now piss off the base, what do they left?

Are you saying I can get the old dashboard back if I sign up for a Fitbit subscription?

@Gregotga  I don’t think so but I haven’t tried the free trial because you have to agree to an auto renewing subscription, or you have to cancel at least 1 day before the end of the trial. Has anyone else tried the trial?
