How do I join a challenge if I can't download the app ?

I have an original ipad which won't let me download the app so I monitor my fitbit flex on my laptop. I would like to join a challenge but don't seem to be able to. My wife has a latest version ipad and has the app working. Is it possible for me to link my fitbit to her ipad, thus getting the app, without mucking up her settings ?

Moved this thread from the Flex to the iOS section since being more relevant to the topic and increases the chance of getting a solution.

 

Meanwhile, It's possible to use your wife's ipad, make sure to logout from the fitbit app (phone) and login with your fitbit account. To switch users, it's required each time to logout.. and login with the relevant account.
