I have been unable to find how to delete or edit custom foods. How can I do this? If this is not possible, why not?

Best AnswerThe edit option really does not show to me. Only delete.
I know it's weird, but I cannot edit anything in the food log, apart from the qty and unity of measurement.
Even entering as customized food, I cannot edit later on. I need to delete it and then create it again.
Weird.
Best AnswerI have charge 3 several years. Regarding advice given, there is no edit button on left side of screen so suggestions totally worthless. Can a food category be deleted from the list? Yes or no? If yes, please give advice that actually works. Thanks

If you swipe left in the food log you only have "delete" as an option.
If you swipe left on an existing Custom Food during add mode and swipe left you have both "Edit" and "Delete" options.
Be aware that when in edit mode the ten-key that is used does not have a decimal point key.
Hope this helps and welcome to the boards.
Best AnswerWorks. Thank you
Hi,
Swipe the arrow on the right to the left. The edit and delete options show. Press edit. This works on an IPad or iPhone.
I cannot either and the preloaded food calories are way off on many foids. I am looking at a label and it says A and the fitbit says B. Very annoying as is not only having two then type in your own custom food needlessly if they could get it correct in the program, but also if you find you’ve made a typo it is very hard to go back and actually edit sure is very easy to delete but the edit function is very difficult to figure out. Needlessly difficult! My doctor recommended using MyFitnessPal because in her words Fitbit nutrition is way too confusing. Also your units and amounts of food are very restricted in the options you can select
Best AnswerThis is nuts. FitBit's lack of handling of this issue is nuts. I'm going to start looking at My Fitness Pal. 😞
Best AnswerI landed here through Google trying to find out how to edit a custom meal on Android. Doesn't look like there's a way, but in the Windows app, I finally realized you can right click right click to get a context menu with just delete as an option. At least that way you can remove it and try again. They did a pretty good job hiding that feature...
