How to add steps to Fitbit app?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit needed charging yesterday so didn't record my steps but Apple Health on my phone did.  Usually when this happens I use the dashboard to manually add the steps to Fitbit.  How do I do this now the dashboard has been cancelled?

Hi @bisjo. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for taking the time to share the query regarding steps.

You can log your activity on the Fitbit app through the exercise tile. It is the tile with the "running man". Tap on it and then tap on the "+" sign. You will not be able to add a specific amount of steps though. However, you can enter the length of the walk/run. Based on your personal data, it will calculate the amount of steps for the parameters you fill in.

If you want to delete steps, follow these steps:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the Steps tile.
  2. Tap the 3 dots icon in the top right> Manage dataDelete Data.
  3. Tap Floors os Steps. Choose the time period you want to delete the data from and confirm your changes.
