How to delete in-app Notifications.

They have been there from day one.  These are notifications like" Almost there.  You have 2150 steps to meet your daily goal."  I can't figure out how to delete them.  Anyone know?

@richmca  Unfortunately, there is no way to delete them.  There is a Feature Suggestion asking for this.  A recent update by a moderator bumped the Feature Suggestion up to Under Consideration.  But she goes on to say that they are only thinking about Messages, not Notifications.

I can help you stop some of the Notifications.  Go to your dashboard on the fitbit.com (web) dashboard.  Click on the gear, then Settings.  On the left side of the screen, click Notifications.  Uncheck all the Mobile choices that you want to stop.

Hello @richmca, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit family. Thanks for your insight @LZeeW, I appreciate it. Smiley Happy

@richmca, as @LZeeW mentioned, deleting in-app Notifications is not currently possible, and as suggested you can add your vote and comment on this suggested idea. This is the best way to get the attention of our development team.

Now, as @LZeeW indicated, if you'd like to stop some of these Notifications, go the Notification Settings on the online Dashboard and un-check the boxes you consider necessary under Mobile, then click on SAVE for the settings to apply.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
