Hello @Constance_42, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. If you'd like to edit a food log, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Food tile
  2. Search for the date when you logged the food
  3. Tap on the day.
  4. Tap on the food log
  5. Edit the serving size, the time of day when the food was logged and the date of the log.
  6. To save, tap on the back (<) symbol

Please note that the macronutrients for the food you've logged can't be edited, you can only edit macronutrients on your custom foods. To do this, please:

  1. Tap on the Food tile, then on the plus (+) sign on the top right corner.
  2. Tap on CUSTOM
  3. Tap on the Edit button on the top left corner
  4. Select the custom food you want to edit
  5. Tap on "Switch to detailed View"
  6. Edit the macronutrients.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!

I’m not able to edit the date , it’s not editable but the other info is.  What’s up with that ? I’m on the app, and I click on the food I want to edit . It’s logged today but I want to move it to tomorrow.

I appreciate you have taken the time to share your experience with us. At this moment our team is aware of this situation and is working towards a prompt and proper solution for this issue that's preventing users from editing the date on their food logs. Once we have more information to share, we'll make sure to post it here in the official Forums.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day!

Any update?  I can't change the date on my iPhone Fitbit app 3.1 nor have I been able to figure out how to change it on the browser.

Any update on fixing this? It’s frustrating when I log a whole days worth of food and I accidentally log for the wrong day. I can’t just edit the day, I have to go back and redo it all. Very frustrating! Please fix this!

I am having the same problem as well. Accidentally entered last nights dinner on today’s date. Nothing is changing the date. So I had to re-enter every item of that dinner again and I am stuck with it for today too?!?! Not right......

I have iphone 11. Need to edit custom food I added. When I get to the food log, there is no Edit button on the top left corner. The top left corner has 123, that opens up add calories.  How do I edit a custom food?

This affects me too. And the year is now 2021. Have there been any updates? How to troubleshoot?

4 years later and you still can’t edit the date your food was entered? Is there a fix I’m not seeing?
