How to remove an old challenge

Is there a way to remove an old challenge from the app as my challenge finished 2 days ago and I still havent worked out how to remove it from the list.

How do you force quit the challenges?

None of my challenges are being removed.

Welcome to the Community @TmullerCompleted challenges remain visible for three days after they have finished. You can quit the Challenge if you no longer want to be part of this. However, If it finished you won't be able to quit at all. 

 

Please follow the procedure posted below: 

- Check the Challenge

- Tap on the three dots that you have in the right corner

- Tap options > finally tap on Quit this Challenge

It's not resolved because my challenges are still showing up too after a week-updated logged in and out shut down phone force quit and still showing up

Ok so I found that if u have waited the allotted stupid three days open the challenge click options in the upper right corner there will an option to delete challenge and then it will be removed even though u completed it. I mean I don't think that the right way to do it but it was the only way for me to get rid of it.

I am having the same problem and it has been three days and they are still here. I have already begun a new workweek hustle and the ones from last week are still on my devise. I don't show the three dots either so i have no option to remove it. I have tried closing the app I have tried restarting my phone nothing is working.

I have challenges that ended 145 and 78 days ago. I have logged out, re-installed, app is current and I am not able to remove these challenges. It is very frustrating. Please let me know if there is any resolution.

Totally agree that this is frustrating. I called in to customer support and they also did not have an answer for this issue.  I don’t understand why this cannot be corrected by the developers.  It’s not like this is a new product on the market.  It appears this has been an issue for many years.  Come on Fitbit, this should be an easy fix.

I also see old challenges and have the most recent version.

I logged out and force quit 

Restarted my phone and they are still there 

 

I deleted the app and redownloaded and it's still there

I am also having the same problem. I run a group with 70 people in and set up 7 workweek hustle for them every Saturday evening. Once the week before has completed with no problem. (Or use too). I don’t rematch as I like them to compete against other people. 

This week I have not been able to do so as it says I have maximum challenges running which I obviously haven’t. But it would let me rematch a couple?!?!?

Had to wait until Monday to be able to set them up.  Weekend warriors which obviously now has finished ( had three running) but I still can’t set anymore challenges as it say I’m max out. 

Valley loop sometimes stays on there for days after it has finished. 

Why is this suddenly happening?!

I have like the other done the shut downs etc and nothing. 

Also the group leaderboard is telling me that there are people in the group that I haven’t even got as friends. Who never have joined the group!! 

Please sort this out! Or I’m going to have 70 upset people!

Just trying to keep this thread going same issue. Why do you have to wait three days anyway?! Why can’t I have the option to delete challenges?! Why does it take years for Fitbit to solve anything?! why have I had this Fitbit less than a month and have had to use these forums multiple times for answers and call customer service at twice?! Whoever you have leading your tech support and development departments should be fired.

I'm having the same issue! It's been over a week and the challenges still show up. It's pretty annoying so I've moved them to the bottom so I can see the stats that I need to look at. I have uninstalled the app & reinstalled it. Then I logged out of the app and forced stopped it. They still show up. And yes I do have the latest version of the Fitbit app.

This thread started in 2015 and it’s now 4 years later and the problem is still occurring. It’s happening to me too. I have three challenges sitting in the dashboard and two are completed and won’t go away.

this is still an issue for me to.

It should be resolved because you can't sell this as a feature because this is obviously a bug.

I have only 2 challenges left, and after that what should i do, make a new account? 

That doesn't make any sense.

You should be able to quit when it finish, it is lame to wait for 72 hours. It is a very bad user experience to have them sitting there, at least, let us archive the challenge and let the serve do his thing on the background

I have several challenges that should be gone by now.  One is a couple of months old.  I have just tried everything I see here and have googled and nothing has worked.

Tried that, still won't go away. Now what? I have 4 old challenges and they won't go away. I refuse to join any new challenges bc they are getting frustrating to scroll past

Same problem here - do you think they should prioritise their developers to fix premium issues like this?
