How to setup a new Charge 3 in existing account?

I have a new iPhone XR and a  new fitbit XR .. on my old phone a iPhone SE I never received any notifications with new fitbit.  Now I have new phone and won't let me pair it because it wants my old fitbit… how do I attach my Email to this new Charge3

Thanks for sharing that you got a new iPhone and Charge 3. Let's work on this together! I've confirmed that your new iPhone XR is a compatible device and since you had an old Fitbit device, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the profile's icon.
  2. Tap on setup a device and choose your Charge 3.
  3. If your previous Fitbit was a Charge 3, you'll be requested to replace it. Please do so.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions and wait until the firmware is updated.
