My fit bit won't sync with my ihealth app.

I agree with Steve Fitbit is that one place the only apple product that counts steps is Apple Watch (not including the phone itself) and if you had the Fitbit and Apple Watch on at the same time it would look stupid

UPDATE:

And there is an IFTTT Applet that does it.

I'm afraid fitbit isn't designed to sync with iHealth

Look for something like sync helper, a few draw backs is you probably want to sync once a day, right before you go to sleep... also I don't think it logs in flights of stairs, but if step count and calories burned is the most important, then this app could help

Hello @Dobz and @LMB25, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!, It's always nice to see you around @SteveH, I hope you're doing well.

@Dobz and @LMB25, as @SteveH mentioned, the Fitbit app hasn't been designed to sync with Apple Health, one way to make Apple Health share information with Fitbit is by downloading the IFTTT app from the App Store and link both Apple Health and Fitbit with it. I went ahead and found a useful post in the Apple Discussion board about how to connect the three apps.

Additionally, I would like to encourage you to check this suggested idea by @JustMe1234 to implement a way to sync both apps in the future, feel free to vote for it and add your comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard!

I hope this can be helpful, in case you need anything else, please keep me posted!

Come on @MarcoGFitbit, the suggested idea you are referring to has been on your website since 2014 and has more than 5k votes... You can't possibly keep asking your customers to do that. If Fitbit isn't listening I find it kind of frustrating.

Syncing from iHealth / Apple Watch needs to happen SOON.  It's been 3 years and people are still asking for it.  To not do so, at this point, is either hubris or laziness.

I dislike the idea of downloading a third party app to get my data into ihealth.  How much of my storage will that take?  I'm guessing there is a cost to the third party app as well.  I paid enough for my charge 2 if Fitbit can't accommodate syncing with ihealth than Fitbit should make ithat crystal clear.  I had no idea it couldn't sync with Apple.

As for the "suggested idea" that Fitbit and Apple Watch be made to sync or that Apple Watch have access to the Fitbit app, that would be acceptable if it includes not just the Apple Watch but Apple in general.  Not sure why we would exclude other Apple platforms ie iPhone.

I Love everything Apple.  Realistically I see Fitbit as the fitness tracker of choice and for it to be compatible with Apple I feel is just good business.  I believe it would only widen the Fitbit market.

Why did my IP address get banned all of a sudden? I can't login to my Fitbit. This is frustrating and interrupts my daily fitness plans.

Emails attempts for help will not go through.  I keep getting network errors and an auto message about my IP address is banned. Please help.

So I have the IFTTT abs it doesn’t have the option to solve the steps issue between Fitbit and Apple Health please advice

It is absolutely silly that there is no Sync option with Apple Health. Requesting the feature does nothing. The app won’t get more than two stars ratings in the App Store from me, until this is added. Everybody else should do this too. Almost every other tracker works with Apple Health. It’s time for FitBit too.

LOL.  In my experience over three years, Fitbit never listens to anyone, ever.  They strike me as "shareholder first", not "customer first".  So, maybe if you want to invest.... but not if you want good quality products that work with other software.

As I choose my scale, this thread seals the deal: iHealth Core for me!!
