How to update time-zones on my device?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My time is set for EST but is still on CST as I was in Chicago last week. What do I do to set the correct time an hour ahead?  It says where I am now in EST but is still on Central.

Hello @Lauriekg, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Advanced Settings and make sure that under Time Zone, "Set Automatically" is enabled. This way, when you sync your device on the new timezone, the time will be automatically changed. However, if this is not the case, please try these steps:

  1. Disable "Set Automatically"
  2. Manually choose your time zone
  3. Go back to the Dashboard and sync your device.
  4. Once synced, the time should automatically changed, when it does, go back to Account > Advanced Settings and enable "Set Automatically" again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
