I downloaded a new FitBit app about a week ago. How can I go back to what I had? All I want to do os track my steps and watch one friend so we can encourage one another. That feature is now gone. My battery drains very quickly since the update and with no warning, it just goes dead. The ONE won't sync sometimes and says I may have it linked to another device. There is no easy way to get to the Community Help Forums. So please tell me how to go back to what I had. If that's not possible, then I am finally through with FitBit and the games you play with your users.

Hello @Marsha11, I appreciate you have replied to me, I hope you're having a nice day.
I'm very glad you were able to find the Friends tab. Now, the latest Fitbit One firmware update is still being rolled out so it's possible you won't be able to receive it yet. Once the update is ready on your tracker, you will be able to see a pink arrow next to your tracker's name when you go to Account. That indicates that an update is ready to be download and installed. When the time comes, please update your Fitbit One and check if the battery issue has been resolved.
I understand your concern about our team's choice to discontinue the Fitbit One, I appreciate your feedback and insight about this situation. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reply.

Hello @Marsha11, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around.
I would like to thank you for your feedback. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers, unfortunately it's not possible to go back to a previous version of the Fitbit app. However, I'll be happy to help you with the issues you're experiencing.
Which feature are you referring when you mentioned you want to encourage your friend? Is it related to Challenges or is related to Friends? As both features are still available in the app. For challenges, tap on the menu at the bottom of the app, you will be redirected to the Challenges and Adventures screen where you can form a group with your friends in Challenges or just exercise by yourself with Adventures. If there's another feature you're referring to, please reply with as much details as you can so I can check this further.
Now, about your Fitbit One draining battery fast, our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this situation caused. I appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track. In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply as well.

Hello @Marsha11, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply.
With the new app updates, the Friends section was moved into the Community tab. If you'd like to see your friends and check on them please tap on Community > Friends.
Now, in regards of your issues with the Fitbit One, we have just released a new app update and I would like to suggest you to install it and monitor your tracker to check if still draining fast or if it's having syncing issues.
Finally, in regards of your last question, please check this post where @KateFitbit addresses this situation and provides pertinent information that might be helpful for you.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reply.

Thank you, MarcoFitBit, for moderator suggested my downloading the solutions you provided. I have found the friends tab (which was not there before this week.) So that issue is resolved. Another moderator suggested that I download a recent upgrade to my ONE but I cannot find anyplace to find that update. Can you give me better directions, please?
My biggest problem now is the very rapid draining of the battery and it going dead with absolutely no warning.
Lastly, I know you have made the choice to discontinue the ONE in favor of the ZIP for a non-wrist device. I really urge FitBit to reconsider that choice. The ZIP is a poor design and not reliable. I know...I had 6 in a little over 2 years replaced due to the clips in the battery housing being "bent".
