IOS3.86 update

iOS version 3.86 rollout started yesterday. As a blind user, I am happy to say that the heart rate and heart rate zone data has been restored to the home screen for people using Apple‘s voiceover screen, reading software. The edit button which was removed almost 2 years ago still is not available. Sleeps on percentages and oxygen saturation along with other sleep information can continues to be problematic. Hourly information for distance, steps, floors, calories and others continues to be unavailable. The screens in exercise days two through six continue to be problematic, showing inaccurate data without descriptions  For people who are blind, using the Apple voice over screen reading software. I continue to hope that these issues along with others will be addressed by Google/Fitbit in the future. I have been trying to get a replacement password for my Google accounts because I have  Forgotten the old password. Google Disability Support has forwarded the information to the appropriate people and it has been almost 2 months and I have yet to hear from Google as to what help they might be able to provide me. I have requested help from friends when they have visited and they have been unable to assist me.  I do not know how and when and if I will be able to migrate my Fitbit data to Google before the mandatory time. Fitbit, if you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I have dictated this on my iPhone and hope that you will be able to interpret my ramblings . Again, I am a blind user advocating for those who are blind and reading, disabled, looking for a change that makes Fitbit equally accessible to those who are cited, blind, and reading disabled.

The following fields continue to reverse for no apparent reason or disappear, and then reappear at the latter time. The fields are steps, floors, calories and zone minutes. I am still monitoring to see if the application home screen is freezing. I have noted that after clicking on zone minutes, a new tile seems to appear which needs to be clicked on in order to get to the numbers and the breakdown of zone minutes. This happens intermittently and may be related to application. Refresh time. Speaking of application refresh time after clicking on the synchronized button, it continues to appear that the time required for synchronization has increased, and may be actually increasing.  I have dictated this and hope you will be able to interpret my ramblings again and again I am using an iPhone, SE 5G, and Apple voiceover as my screen reading software.

This morning, the Fitbit home screen information froze. Also, when I went to check for miles traveled yesterday, the Apple voiceover screen, reading software read the distance as September 2. This is an ongoing issue that goes back years and only occurs when miles are between one and nine, followed by, one digit. In other words, 1.1 miles would register as January 1 7.4 miles would register as July 4 and today 9.2 miles registered as September 2. I do not recall this happening when the miles were in double digits. I would think it would be an easy fix to change the formatting of distance miles, so they read correctly and not as month followed by day. The same way when it comes to time and sleep sounds I would think it would be easy to have the time when only minutes reported as minutes and not as meters.

This morning when I checked distance for Friday, the Apple voice over screen reader announced the distance as August 6 miles

and yesterday I had an issue with the application being unable to find the Fitbit tracker I was wearing. I tried clicking on picture/profile, clicking on the device I was wearing, and was unable to synchronize, because the application could not find the device. I closed Fitbit and re-opened and it still could not find the device. I pressed the button and held the button on the side of the tracker end again the application could not find the tracker. Finally out of total frustration I closed the phone and after a reasonable period of time, I reopened the phone and then open the application and finally it was able to locate the tractor and update the screens.  this is the most I have had ever had it needed to do in order to get the screens to update. I have dictated this on my iPhone so please forgive any problems with interpreting the data. I hope this information will be helpful in identifying where the problems might be in the iOS application software , so that updating of information might again become seamless.
