Impact of Fitbit to Google Migration

Hello everyone,

I am currently using a Charge 5 and have not yet migrated to Google.

I am very satisfied with the JSON data format as well as the method of exporting data via ZIP file transfer.

I would like to know if, once the account is migrated from Fitbit to Google, the data format will remain the same/

Particularly for the following JSON files:
calories*.json, distance*.json, heart_rate*.json, moderately_active_minutes*.json, sedentary_minutes*.json, steps*.json, and sleep*.json.

I really hope that this data will remain accessible in the same format as it was with a Fitbit account.

Thank you very much for your feedback on this point.

Best regards,

Julien

After quite a bit of research, I think I’ve found the answer:

even after migrating from a Fitbit account to Google, it seems that the Fitbit app is still the standard for retrieving the data.

Additionally, the file structure of the JSON files appears to remain unchanged, which is a good point.

However, if someone could confirm that this is indeed correct, that would be great! 😉

Thank you very much for your feedback on this point.

Best regards,

Julien
