My Fitbit app notifications will not upload. The last notification I have is from August 2017. I try to refresh it but it just stays on the notifications from August. Not sure what I need to do to fix it.

I have an iPhone 7
ios 11.4.1

I can't figure out what Fitbit app version is installed on my phone.

This is what I see when I open up notifications in the app.

Hello @SueH8910, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you. It's nice to see you too @M-Bates, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have taken the time to provide me the information requested. @M-Bates, it seems the screenshot you sent didn't come through. Could you please reply to me with it following these steps to upload it again? That will be very helpful.

@SueH8910I appreciate your participation in the forums. Please note that as mentioned above, based on customer feedback, the Fitbit app has stopped showing notifications in the Notification Center, which is why you have not received them in the Notifications tab. You will only be able to see "step goal" notifications as push notifications on your phone.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Thank you guys for clearing this up as the red dot has been driving me insane.  I am also an OCD user and would love to see this removed from the app.

Hi, I don’t believe you answered the questions about the in app notifications that have stopped working for many of us. Mine stopped showing on June 10, 2018. The person was suggesting removing the section if it’s not going to work. But we want it to work. What can FitBit do to correct this software issue?

I also want the notifications to work instead of removing it from the app.

Same for me, on my iPhone 8, iOS 11.4.1. The notifications show as previews but when I go to the app, I cannot see them. Nothing has updated since June 17, 2017. I hope that whatever broke with the app can be fixed in an update soon!

Hello @Pinermagic@KTB55 and @Rustycrowedrums, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's always a pleasure for me to greet new members!

I understand your concern about this feature, However, please note that as mentioned earlier, based on customer feedback, the Fitbit app has stopped showing notifications in the Notification Center, which is why you have not received them in the Notifications tab. You will only be able to see "step goal" notifications as push notifications on your phone.

If you'd like to see this feature return to the Fitbit app, please check @Stevey_c's suggested idea to bring it back. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I hope you all have a great day!

Hi Everyone- as noted in the thread, based on customer feedback, in June we stopped showing notifications in the Notification Center. You can continue to receive these notifications as push notifications by turning on Push Notifications in the app under Account > Notifications. Additionally, ensure that Notifications is selected in your iPhone settings. As this is an older thread, I'll be closing this thread for further responses.
