Inaccurate gps with iPhone 7/iOS 10

I have an Alta and I upgraded to an iPhone 7 with iOS 10 and now my walks are showing im walking more/faster than I actually am. I know I can't walk a mile in 14:00 to 14:30 minutes. I've tried turning on location sharing and making sure it is set to always on location services plus turned lte to data only. I noticed today there was a "lock" symbol by my gps signal in the Fitbit app of my exercise map and I touched it and it went from "locked" to "unlocked". I have no idea what that is or if it fixed it yet. Has anyone else seen any issues like this?

I just went for a walk and still the same. All jagged etc. iOS 11 and iPhone 7. So back to the same boat for me. I find if you turn your phone off and back on, it’s better for a while. But then eventually reverts back to the garbage it does now. The section near where I ended look all’s like someone scribbled all over it. The walk MAYBE was 1.5 km and the app said 3.1km.

Strange!

I have changed my iPhone at the genious bar just a few weeks before so it might be a model with a better gps chip... or maybe the algorithm that I guess is smoothing the track is working at running speed only... but here is my daily run before and after the iOS 11 update... needless to say that the shorter one is very close to what I had before with iPhone 6. And when you zoomin no more jagging around like a monkey! I am happy now and will stop harassing Apple exchanging my iPhone every two months just to make them spend a little of their money for a bad product they sold at such a high price...
