After updating to the new Fitbit app (accidentally, I was trying to keep the previous version after hearing this one doesn't work well), it is now displaying the incorrect remaining calories for the day on the app dashboard. It displays the correct amount when clicking into the food logging screen and also displays correctly on the web browser dashboard.
I updated my phone to iOS 13.2, hoping this would resolve the glitch but it didn't. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Best AnswerHello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @dana6189
I understand that your seeing a discrepancy between the calories remaining on the Fitbit App versus the online Dashboard. I did a bit of digging around and found this: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Fitbit-com-Dashboard/Calorie-burned-tiles-are-different/td-p/2773096 I think this will help answer your question. Best AnswerHello. Thanks for all of the information. I followed the directions from this link, but I see that I already had the food plan set to "Sedentary: Starts out low and lets you earn calories as you are active throughout the day." This is the setting I've always used.
The issue is that it's giving me the correct "calories left for the day" in this screen, based off of how much I've exercised and that I earn calories throughout the day.
But an overestimated, incorrect number on this screen:
These screenshots were taken at the same time before entering any food log. It shows 1,994 calories left for the day on the main screen and then shows 1,494 left on the next screen where food is logged.
Is there anything else I can do to correct this? Thanks again.

Its a known behaviour. The calories out are not updated under Cals in vs out histogram. They update fully around midnight. I would use the main dashboard tiles as a reference point
😃Hopefully this answers your question. Please let me know
Best AnswerThanks for the reply. I find that the main dashboard on the app screen is inaccurate. This is very disappointing because the app didn't function like this before the update. Now I am seeing incorrect calories remaining throughout the entire day on my main app dashboard.
Best AnswerNow my calories in count is completely incorrect on the front dashboard. Is there any fix for this issue?

I’m sorry you’re still experiencing problems. Can you please try logging out of your Online Dashboard as well as your Fitbit App. After logging out of the Fitbit app force shut the app by swiping it upward. Now turn off your iOS device, wait 1-2 mins then turn your iOS device back on again and log back into your Fitbit app as you normally would with your email address and password. Sync your Fitbit with the app then log into your Online Dashboard. 😉 Hopefully this resolves your issue. If this does not resolve the issue I would suggest calling Fitbit Customer Service. Here are ways to contact them: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs&co=GB
