Incorrect readings on my old Fitbit charge

I just found my Fitbit charge from 2014 after a move so I charged it and it's working. The issue is it is recording steps when I'm sleeping or just sitting on the couch... How can I recalibrate so it doesn't give me false readings?

@mamma_mia_gia Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I recommend performing a restart first to fix that issue (check @AlejandraFitbit's post). You can also change the dominant hand setting to "dominant" as it will decrease the sensitivity of step counting and should reduce any over counting when your body is not moving.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
