I have had my Inspire 2 since May 21.
I previously had Charge 4's, replaced twice by FitBit as faulty, so when the third one kept losing minutes last May I went for a different model rather than get it replaced again, but now I am having problems with the Inspire 2.
Every time I open the app, in the last 1-2 months, I get an error message that pairing is lost. I have to go to Bluetooth, forget device, and when I go back into the app it re-pairs no problem.
But a) this is annoying and b) ever since this started happening I burn through the battery life in less than 2 days - I assume the device is using battery life trying to pair all the time?
So far I have done all the normal things - switched off bluetooth, waited 10 mins. Forget device. Re-pair. Reboot the watch. Uninstall and reinstall the app. In all different orders and it just makes no difference.
If it helps to know this, my watch has always displayed "No data" when I scroll down to sleep, even though sleep has been syncing fine in the app, until this recent issue. But I just put up with that.
Can anyone suggest all the necessary troubleshooting steps, in the right order, before I sadly give up and move to a different brand? Thank you.

Hi @Lorraine_P what phone and operating system are you using? Wonder if logging out of the app when you're not using it makes a difference?

Hi and thanks for taking the time to read my post :-). I have an iPhone, using iOS 15.2. It’s a good shout as when I think about it the problems started around the time of that update, but I’ve tried a hard restart on the phone as well as uninstalling the Fitbit app. I see 15.3 is out now so I’ll force an update for that, don’t know why it hasn’t done it automatically, so thanks for prompting me to check that. 🙂

@Lorraine_P sometimes it is the operating system of the phone. I'll move this over to the iOS area for more responses. Let us know how things go for you.

Sadly updating iOS didn’t help, still having the same issues 😞

I have had loss of my detailed sleep data (stages), HRV and nighttime breathing rate which also makes my readiness scores inaccurate. This coincides with the Fitbit app for IOS being updated on 1/26/22. So far not many people have reported anything to do with “no data” on sleep. I have done multiple cycles of removing device, logging out, deleting app from my phone, forgetting BT, resetting Inspire 2 to factory settings and then reinstalling the whole mess. I tried to explain this to customer service yesterday and my suspicion that the 1/26 update was related since that was the exact date I began getting the NO DATA messages. As a side note my heart rate line in the app shows continuous heart rate recorded all night so my device is recording it so I don’t think it is my device. I think it’s software. I asked to be connected with second level support for IOS app but my phone support person would not do this. He told me that no one else was reporting this even though I could point to another user on Inspire 2 community who is reporting the same issue. Then he told me maybe I should call Apple. I clapped back hard at him over that and asked him to send my problem over to their IOS team and he insisted that he could help me. Instead he sent me a label to return my device and I will “hear from them” in 7-10 days. I’m really irritated because they have made several Fitbit app for IOS updates in close succession and now my perfect device isn’t working right. The first problem I encountered was a few weeks ago the battery level showing on sync being off (but that isn’t fatal.) The total breakdown of the detailed sleep reporting IS fatal for me as that is my primary reason for wearing it. Anyway, good luck.
