Inviting additional friends to a challenge

I can get to my friends list to invite more people to a challenge. I can even click their name to add them to the invite list. However, there is no button to actually send the invite. What gives? I've got the people marked for invite, but how do I get the invite to them? I see absolutely nothing that says "send" or anything of the sort.

Hi there, @JDCullen. Glad to see you enjoy the challenges.  I like them, too. It sounds like you are trying to invite friends to a challenge that is already underway. Please keep in mind that challenges (other than the Adventure Challenges) are limited to 10 participants. In your scenario, is there room for more participants?

Here is another thought, @JDCullen. Not everyone likes challenges. Is it possible that some of your friends have turned off challenges? Each of us has the ability to control Challenge invitations. 

The Help pages say this: 

HOW DO I STOP GETTING NOTIFIED ABOUT CHALLENGES?

Fitbit keeps you updated on the challenge by sending push notifications or email.

To choose one, both, or neither:

   Log in to your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon in the top right.
   Click Settings > Notifications.
   Find Challenges and uncheck the notification(s) you no longer want.
   Don't forget to click Save.

There are less thank 10 people in the challenge.

They do not have challenges turned off.

There is just no "send" button. I can tick the name, but there's nothing to click to send.

Unfortunately, that's all I can think of. You may want to try adding friends to other challenges to see if this problem is consistent and repeatable ... not restricted to this one challenge. Please let us know how that works out.

As you can see, I can try to add people. Where oh where is the dang "send" button? This is for each and every challenge each and every week. Am I missing something? Does anyone else have a "send" button?

Hmmmm ... I know I've added friends to challenges in the past. The Help page simply says this:

CAN I INVITE MORE FRIENDS AFTER A CHALLENGE HAS STARTED?

After a challenge is underway you can still invite other Fitbit friends. To do so, open the challenge and find the option to invite other people. You'll be able to select the friends you want to include and send them invitations.

I tried adding more friends to a challenge but was unable to do so. Let me check around ands see what I can find out.

Thanks! I've always been able to do it but there has been no way to do so for several weeks. I figured it was a bug, when I could resolve it by rebooting, reinstalling, etc. When it was never fixed, I figured I'd try reporting it in some way. I appreciate the help!

OK @Chumfun and @JDCullen ... I need help trouble shooting this issue. Please respond, answering these two questions:

1. Which iPhone or IOS device are you using?
2. Which IOS version are you on? 

As for me, I use an iPhone 6 with IOS 10.3.3
