Ionic not connecting to Bluetooth

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have spent the past two days trying to correct the problem connecting my Ionic to the Fitbit app. It will not establish a Bluetooth link between watch and phone. I have tried every all the fixes on this board with no luck. I removed the Fitbit from my account in attempt to reinstall from scratch.  Phone searches and searches and can not locate the device.  I have rebooted the watch and phone several times, turned Bluetooth off and on.  Nothing works.

Hi @Dzchaney, welcome to the Community!

Thanks for your efforts while trying to connect your Ionic. You did a great job with the troubleshooting. Just to confirm, is the Fitbit app updated to the 3.1 version? Are your iPhone and Ionic updated to the latest version? Although you've tried some steps, please give a try to the following in the given order:

  1. Remove the Ionic from the Bluetooth settings if it appears there.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone one more time.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap the Account icon > Ionic's image.
  5. Tap on Notifications and proceed to pair via Bluetooth.

Let me know how it goes.
