Hi All,

Is any one facing issue with Ionic notifications after the latest firmware upgrade 2.1.

I have already done the following :

- restarted ionic

- forget the device from iPhone and added again

- restarted my iPhone also

- and at last did Factory Reset also.

after factory reset it worked fine for few hours and then again the problem started.

Can anyone help me to fix this issue asap.

thanks

Hi, I just checked in the forums and follow the troubleshooting steps to fix notifications (the only thing I have not tried is a hardreset on the ionic), and I keep getting notifications with a delay of around 5 seconds from when they show on my iPhone. Any suggestion how to fix this?... iPhone is in iOS 11.3.1 and fitbit app is 2.50 (760)...

Hi

I even tried factory reset, what I have noticed is that after factory reset, if we change the watch face this problem starts and Incase if we don’t change from the default watch face it works

fine.

this what I have observed.

hope Fitbit is working on this to rectify ASAP

I tried everything... reset, hardreset, disabling notification and enabling again, remove pairing and pairing again, and every time I have the same problem with notification being show after about 4-5 seconds of being displayed in my phone...

[Edit]

I just found something interesting... I have a remainder with a note (using iOS), and when I clear this notification, everything seems to work fine... so, it may be related to notification with some kind of text... I will be watching and inform of any additional findings... btw.. just opened a ticked to fitbit support...

[Edit]

Well, I guess OS 2.1 is really having issues with notifications, today I began to have problems with delayed notifications (around 5 secs), I still haven't found a possible solution...

I know nothing about ios, but have found in android if to many background apps are running or if a lot of memory is tied up, my notifications are delayed.

After trying some things with the support team, I finally got a message that makes me think this is a widespread issue and the developers are working to fix it. Let’s hope we have a fix soon!

Seems there is new update released, will try to update this by EOD, and will monitor and check how is the behavior

I already tried, and looks to improve things a bit, but I'm still getting delayed notifications... so I guess, we need to wait a bit more...

[Edit: I tried something different and looks like a workaround until we have a final fix. I usually do not clean notifications in my ionic, but I noted that if I keep clening notifications, then the delay is gone, looks like the delay is linked to having a long list of notifications. I will keep testing and report anything new.]

Same here.. earlier my call notification used to take 9 seconds, now it is taking 3 seconds.

I have dropped a mail to Support, just waiting for their feedback
